Pilgrimage to Berrima

Thanks to the Capuchin Friars for organising the Pilrimage to Berrima. From waiting for the Cruz Sisters to get on the bus, singing & doing the rosary on the bus - to Mass at Penrose Park, Lunch, walking to the Shrine - to the Federal Election. THANK YOU!!

ACTS:2 POSTER COMPETITION



Do you have a keen eye for poster design? Now you can use that creative flare to add an exciting new dimension to your community.

“World Youth Day 2008” - If you can represent that concept in a poster that captures the imagination of the judges, your skills can create an exciting new direction & impact within the Good Shepherd Parish Community.

Enter your work in the ACTS:2 WYD08 Poster Design Competition and you could WIN AWESOME PRIZES.

Paint it, draw it, design it on computer, you choose. We’ll choose the designs that best convey originality, creativity, imagination, and inspiration.

We encourage you to apply your talent to the poster competition and share the excitement of World Youth Day 2008 to ACTIV8 the Catholic faith in Plumpton! Just keep it to (A3) 42cm x 29.7cm!

How to Enter

Create one A3 poster and submit it in the drop box located at the back of Good Shepherd Church.

Deadlines

• Entries must be received by 6pm Wednesday December 12.
• Winners will be notified on Friday, 14 December during the Good Shepherd Carols by Glow-light. Also winners will be announced in the weekly bulletin.

Categories and Criteria

All submissions should show an understanding of World Youth Day 2008, basic design concepts, and a keen eye for design.

• Poster size cannot exceed A3 (42cm x 29.7cm) and must be submitted in the finished hardcopy.

• The poster must incorporate the theme: “World Youth Day 2008” to ACTiV8 the Catholic faith in Plumpton” & promote the “Capuchin Movement”. For more information visit: www.wyd2008.org

• Artwork must be original and not copied from any other published sources, including books or magazines.

• On the day of the showcase, all submissions will be taken down and will be available for collection by the entrant. ACTS:2 members may ask to keep some submissions to exhibit in the Good Shepherd Church – only with the approval of the entrant.

• If submissions are not collected, it is assumed that it becomes property of ACTS:2.
